Jules and her husband welcomed us on arrival and, seeing that my wife had mobility challenges, immediately changed our room to a ground floor room. The room was top notch as was the breakfast each day. We will definitely book Southlands again. - Andrew J
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Jules. After showing us to our room we were offered tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake in the guest lounge where we met Tonyand his mum who had made the cake. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The tea tray was replenished every day. We had room 3 which had a large unsuited shower.Breakfast was served in the dining room over looking the garden. The full Engish was huge but perfectly cooked and the eggs orange.Jules and Tony have made a fabulous job of taking over this b and b so far and can't wait to revisit when their work on refurbishing is complete next year.Just one very minor comment but by no means retracts from anything I have said above and I am sure Jules and Tony will take into consideration, would be to have some bedside lamps. (The over the bed light was a tad too bright).Thankyou again for our wonderful stay and look forward to coming back. - Cathy and Kevin R
